After 10 years work at Mawala IT centre in which 2500 students had been trained, Projects Abroad started its second phase in Panadura in January 2014. The IT centre is located around 50 metres from the Colombo-Galle main road in Panadura town. The Bolgoda River flows nearby. At the IT centre, volunteers can teach basic computing to the children who come from the villages around Panadura.
At this centre the IT education is free for every student and they will receive a valuable certificate.
Projects Abroad IT centre is located in Panadura within the town limits. It is situated around 50 metres off the Galle-Colombo main road, towards the beach along Susantha Mawatha. This placement is more convenient to the students who come from the villages as it only takes 2 minutes from the main road.
We have a 100m2 installations will all tools so you can learn.
